BTC2Scan is a read-only Bitcoin 2 explorer. It does not offer user accounts, advertising tracking, or behavioral analytics. This notice explains how the website and API handle limited technical data.

No advertising or analytics cookies

BTC2Scan does not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, social tracking pixels, or profiling technologies. The site uses only essential preferences and technical cache, so no consent banner is displayed.

Browser preferences

Preferences saved on your device

BTC2Scan can save a small number of settings in your browser to remember your language, theme, and temporary market display cache. These values stay on your device and are not used to identify you.

btc2scan_lang — stores your selected language.
btc2scan_theme — stores light or dark mode.
btc2scan_market_btc2_v4 — temporarily stores BTC2 market display data.

Service security

Limited technical logs

To keep the service reliable and protected, the hosting/CDN, web server, and API can record technical request data such as IP address, date and time, requested URL, status code, user-agent, and rate-limit events.

Blockchain searches

Search activity is not used for advertising profiles

Searches for blocks, transactions, and BTC2 addresses are processed only to return explorer results and protect service integrity. BTC2Scan does not use search activity for advertising targeting.

API

Read-only API for the explorer

The API supports the official BTC2Scan website. Light manual access may work, but automated, high-volume, or production third-party use is not guaranteed and may be rate-limited or blocked to protect the service.

Infrastructure

Infrastructure providers

BTC2Scan uses infrastructure providers such as CDN/security services, VPS hosting, web server software, and database services to deliver the website, protect traffic, and operate the API.

Retention

Technical logs are kept for a limited period

Technical logs are retained only for service security, abuse prevention, reliability, and maintenance, then deleted or rotated on a limited schedule.

No sale of data

No advertising business model

BTC2Scan does not sell personal data and does not use visitor data for advertising targeting. The explorer is built to provide public BTC2 blockchain information with minimal data collection.
